Jennifer Lopez Employs Joanna Gaines to Revamp $6.6M Malibu Beach Home

The 'On the Floor' hitmaker, who has been spotted together with the Fixer Upper host on March 3, reveals to Ellen DeGeneres that Alex Rodriguez introduced them as his Valentine's Day surprise.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez has reportedly asked top TV renovator Joanna Gaines to revamp her beachfront love nest.

The singer and actress took the next step in her relationship with retired baseball player Alex Rodriguez last month (February 2019) by purchasing a $6.6 million (£5 million) Malibu, California home with him. The property, which boasts three floors, a wrap-around deck, and four bedrooms, needs some tender loving care through rehabilitation and J.Lo was spotted with Gaines on Sunday, March 03.

Sources tell TMZ she has hired the professional home renovator to work on the house.

Jennifer and the "Fixer Upper" host and star were first introduced through Alex, who organised the meeting as a Valentine's Day surprise for his girlfriend.

"He goes, 'I want you to do this meeting with this architect for the house', and I was like, 'OK, great'," Jennifer recalled on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last month. "And he opens up the FaceTime and it's Joanna Gaines. And I was like, 'Ah, oh, are you kidding me? Hi!' I totally fan girled out and she was like, 'Hi', just like she is on the show'. And I'm looking at him and I'm like, 'Ah, you listened to me. I love you - you're so amazing!'"

Gushing about her beau, Jennifer added: "It really blew me away. That to me is more romantic... that he was trying to get her on the phone. That was an awesome moment for us."

The couple bought the house to honour their two-year dating anniversary.
