In an announcement he shared on social media, the 'Show Me the Way' hitmaker reveals that Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening will serve as the opening act at his Summer and Fall shows.

AceShowbiz - Rocker Peter Frampton is joining his ageing peers in retiring from the road by unveiling plans for a farewell tour.

The "Show Me the Way" hitmaker, 68, has revealed he will be bowing out of lengthy treks following one more run, after enjoying life in the limelight since rising to fame with his 1960s band The Herd.

He will kick off his last tour in Tulsa, Oklahoma in June, and wrap up the North American dates in San Francisco, California in October.

Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening group will serve as Frampton's opening act at the majority of shows.

The musician is the latest veteran rocker to bid farewell to fans with a final tour, following in the footsteps of Elton John, Ozzy Osbourne, KISS, Bob Seger, and Paul Simon, who took the stage for the last time in his old hometown of Queens, New York in September (18).
