AceShowbiz - "Pose" writer/director Janet Mock has separated from her husband of three years.
The transgender 35-year-old filed legal papers to divorce Aaron Tredwell on Wednesday, February 20, citing irreconcilable differences, reports The Blast.
Mock, who underwent gender reassignment surgery in Thailand when she was 18, previously gushed about falling for Tredwell the first time they met.
"Within minutes of our meeting, (Tredwell) invited me for a cup of coffee, and in a nearby fluorescent-lit cafe, I discovered that he was more than good-looking," she told Brides.com in 2015. "He was kind and attentive and had a generous ear. I knew he was my guy, but I was unsure if I'd be his girl."
The estranged couple, which doesn't have any children together, wed in December, 2014 in Janet's hometown of Oahu, Hawaii.
