AceShowbiz - Chris Pratt wants to make Katherine Schwarzenegger his wife sooner rather than later as they are planning to wed by next winter.
The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star went public with the news of his engagement to the self-help author, the daughter of action man Arnold Schwarzenegger and newswoman Maria Shriver, on January 13, when he shared a sweet Instagram photo of the couple kissing as Katherine showed off her diamond ring.
Chris and his bride-to-be recently returned to Los Angeles from London, where the actor was promoting his new film, "The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part", and despite his busy schedule, he reveals they have already started discussing a possible timeline for their nuptials.
Admitting they are still in the very early stages of planning, he told Us Weekly they were leaning towards "maybe fall (autumn), winter," but added, "We've got a lot to get done."
The marriage will be Chris' second, following his 2018 divorce from actress Anna Faris, the mother of his six-year-old son Jack, and it appears his little boy is just as excited about the wedding as his dad, insisting his kid is "so thrilled" about welcoming Katherine into the family.
And Jack may soon become a big brother, if Chris gets his wish.
"I'm a lucky man," he recently gushed to U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight about his engagement.
Asked what the future holds for the couple, he replied, "Oh, lots of kids!".
Chris also hopes to scale back on his work commitments so he can spend more time "enjoying life" with his loved ones at his Washington farm.
"I always want to be that guy that works to live, not lives to work," he said. "I think (I want to spend) just a lot of time at the farm and a lot of time catching a lot of fish and seeing lots of sunsets."
