In one scene of the new teaser, Elizabeth Moss' June can be heard saying, 'Wake up, America. Morning's over.'

AceShowbiz - Hulu's "The Handmaid's Tale" has released a teaser of its much-anticipated season 3. Arriving during a Super Bowl LIII commercial slot on Sunday, February 3, the new footage sees Offred a.k.a. June urging America to "wake up."

Clocking at 44 seconds, the new teaser gives fans a sneak-peek at what Elisabeth Moss' character will up to in the new season following the end of the sophomore season, in which she ditched her plan to leave Gilead. "It's morning again in America. Today, more women will go to work than ever before in our country's history," someone narrates in voiceover.

"This year, dozens of children will be born to happy and healthy families," the narrator continues saying. Later, the narrator repeats the word, "It's morning again," on a loop but with a more haunting voice, as violence-filled scenes flicker on the screen.

The scene then cuts to June, who says, "Wake up, America. Morning's over." Several blocks of handmaids then are shown. They are standing in front of the Washington Monument that has been redesigned as a cross.

Judging from the teaser, fans assume that Offred has been slipping into the ranks with the Marthas. It is the section of women who work quietly under the radar in highest-ranking homes in Gilead. Their work includes domestic work like cooking and cleaning. As Offred trades her blood-red uniform to Marthas clothing, fans also speculate that Marthas are the people who helped her escape in the previous season.

In addition to Moss, the dystopian drama series also stars Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Alexis Bledel and Madeline Brewer among others. So far, Hulu has yet to announce premiere date of season 3 of "The Handmaid's Tale", though the network teases that it will arrive "soon."
