AceShowbiz - "Invincible", Robert Kirkman's animated series for Amazon, has revealed its star-studded cast. The upcoming animated drama will see a "The Walking Dead" reunion as Steven Yeun is set to topline the voice cast.

Yeun, who is known for his role as Glenn Rhee for seven seasons of the AMC zombie series, will join other cast members that include Sandra Oh ("Killing Eve"), Mark Hamill ("Star Wars: The Last Jedi"), J.K. Simmons ("Counterpart"), Seth Rogen ("The Interview"), Gillian Jacobs ("Love") and Zazie Beetz ("Deadpool 2").

Also among the stars who lend their voices for the eight-part series are Walton Goggins ("Justified"), Jason Mantzoukas ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine"), Mae Whitman ("Good Girls"), Chris Diamantopoulos ("Silicon Valley"), Melise ("The Flash"), Kevin Michael Richardson ("The Simpsons"), Grey Griffin ("Avengers Assemble") and Max Burkholder ("Parenthood").

Based on Kirkman's recently concluded comic book series of the same name, the planned hour-long animated series will center on Mark (Yeun). He is an ordinary guy at his age except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Ommi-Man (Simmons). However, as he develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father's legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.

Kirkman's Skybound produces the series with Simon Racioppa, whose credits include "Teen Titans", serving as showrunner. Joining Kirkman and Racioppan as executive producers are David Alpert ("The Walking Dead") and Catherine Winder ("Star Wars: The Clone Wars"). Meanwhile, Justin and Chris Copeland ("Ultimate Spider-Man") will serve as supervising directors.

Described as "an adult animated superhero show," "Invincible" will arrive on Amazon Prime sometime in 2020.
