Two months after he got arrested for an altercation over a parking space in New York, the former '30 Rock' star is sentenced to anger management classes and a $120 fine.

AceShowbiz - Alec Baldwin will avoid jail time in his 2018 assault and harassment case after pleading guilty.

The "30 Rock" star was arrested and charged following an alleged altercation over a parking space in New York in November (2018).

The actor was subsequently arraigned and charged with misdemeanour attempted assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree, a violation.

On Wednesday, January 23, Baldwin returned to court, where he pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment. The 60-year-old was ordered to attend anger management classes and pay a $120 (£92) fine.

Baldwin was previously accused of pushing and striking another man during the alleged dispute. He allegedly admitted he pushed the man after he "stole" his parking spot. However, he previously denied punching anyone.

"Normally, I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today's story," he wrote on Twitter after the arrest. "However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false. I wanted to go on the record stating as much. I realise that it has become a sport to tag people (with as) many negative charges and defaming allegations as possible for the purposes of clickbait entertainment."

He added, "Fortunately, no matter how reverberating the echos (sic), it doesn't make the statements true."

Baldwin is known for his fiery temper, and previously hit headlines for clashing with a photographer near his West Village home in 2013, when he was snapped pinning the man against a parked car. A police report was not filed over the incident.
