Responding to an account's post that offers Photoshopping services using edited pictures of her, the 'I Feel Pretty' actress fires back by pointing out, 'This is not good for our culture.'

AceShowbiz - Comedienne Amy Schumer has made it clear she isn't laughing after a tech-savvy social media user edited one of her red carpet photos to make her look Instagram "ready".

The "Trainwreck" star, who has long embraced her curvy figure, recently came across an Instagram post advertising the user's Photoshopping services by altering a picture of Amy from her "I Feel Pretty" press tour last year (18) to give potential customers an example of how they can make their photos look more appealing online.

"DM (direct message) me pictures you would like to post and I will make them insta ready (sic)," read the caption to the side-by-side images of Schumer, showing her before and after the edits, which had made her face and nose narrower, and her eyes larger, with fake makeup applied with computer graphics.

"Like what (I) did with Amy Schumer? I will do that for you too," it continued.

Amy spotted the offensive ad and quickly took the person behind the account to task.

"Woof," she commented. "This is not good for our culture. I like how i (sic) look and don't want to look like a carbon copy of this one type (of) woman you feel is the best way to look."

Her criticism apparently scared the user off, as the account has since been removed from the photo-sharing platform.

It's not the first time Schumer, who is pregnant with her first child, has hit out at public beauty standards, after taking issue with another Photoshopped snap of the actress in a bikini last summer.

"So I think Amy looks great already but man does she look way better (in) my OPINION in the second photo," the Instagram user remarked beside the original and a slimmed-down version of Amy's image.

Responding directly to the critic, Amy wrote, "I disagree. I like how I really look. That's my body. I love my body for being strong and healthy and sexy."

"I look like I'd give a good hug or have a drink with you. The other picture looks nice but it's not me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts as well. See, we're both right."

The photo offender quickly expressed remorse for their "unfair" actions and issued an apology.
