Rumors have been running rampage that the on-and-off couple has called it quits as they haven't been photographed together lately and even spent holiday apart. Fueling the speculation, Zayn was caught unfollowing his model girlfriend on Instagram.
One source has now reported that the pair apparently "have been spending apart since early November" because they think "it's best for the sake of their relationship right now." According to the source, the lovebirds have "been really focused on themselves and their separate careers." Zayn has been busy working and promoting his new album, while Gigi has her model career to be focused on.
This speculation arrived months after Zayn opened up about their relationship in an interview, refusing to put a label on it. "We're adults. We don't need to put a label on it, make it something for people's expectations." He also released a song about the Victoria's Secret model entitled "There You Are", which finds him gushing about his girlfriend.
Gigi and Zayn first sparked romance rumors in November 2015, when they were spotted leaving an American Music Awards after-party together.
