Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Adam Lambert, Dave Grohl, Jeremy Renner, Regina King and Marisa Tomei are among those attending the highly anticipated first show by the 'Bad Romance' hitmaker.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa stunned fans as she kicked off her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency shows.

More than a year after announcing she would be taking her new show, "Enigma", to the Park Theater at the new Park MGM resort for 23 dates, the singer wowed the sold-out crowd of more than 5,200 with her debut.

She also introduced her new alter ego, a glittery metallic alien named Enigma, who was projected on a screen, and was voiced by GaGa.

"Welcome to the show," the alien told the crowd, before asking fans to turn off cameras and cell phones.

Katy Perry and boyfriend Orlando Bloom, Adam Lambert, Dave Grohl, Jeremy Renner, Regina King and Marisa Tomei were among the famous faces in the crowd to see GaGa's Vegas debut, and they were not disappointed.

The 90-minute show featured hits such as "Just Dance", "The Fame", "The Edge of Glory", "Bad Romance" and "Applause".

"We have shared so much. I love you with all my heart," the 32-year-old told the crowd. "I'll tell you something. There's a lot of stuff that goes on in my life that none of you have ever seen, and I try to share some of it with you. But, I can't share it all because you have to be there to see it. So in some small way, I guess my enigma came to me so I could share some small part of me with you."

Before she finished the concert with a performance of her and Bradley Cooper's "A Star Is Born" song "Shallow", she broke down in tears as she opened up to her fans about the meaning of the track.

"For a really long time I felt so misunderstood about the way I dressed, the way I talked, my attitude. They thought the way I dressed, the way I talked, attitude, they thought it was shallow, but this s**t is deep as f**k. I'm so proud to be this far, but the truth is, you gave birth to me," GaGa gushed.
