Pedro Jimenez was hit by a sports utility vehicle (SUV) while putting out traffic cones ahead of a shoot in Brooklyn, New York on Monday, December 10.

The driver of the vehicle was another crew member and New York Police Department officers are currently investigating the incident.

Now, according to The Blast, the 63 year old's cause of death has been determined, and ruled an accident.

Jimenez had been working on the show since its debut in 2014. It is unclear when production on "Power"'s upcoming sixth season will resume, but 50 Cent has paid tribute to the production assistant, writing: "I just learned we lost Pedro Jimenez, a member of the Power production team early this morning. My prayers and condolences are with the entire Jimenez family."
