The 'One Tree Hill' alum and her husband defend their friend and new mom Diane, who is attacked by the Twitter user for drinking alcohol after giving birth.

AceShowbiz - Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are not holding back in their defense of Diane Kruger. On Monday, December 3, the "One Tree Hill" alum retaliated against an Internet bully who mom-shamed the "Inglourious Basterds" actress for drinking alcohol post giving birth to her first child, and her actor husband was completely on board.
Burton was quick to fire back at the online troll after she was tagged in the protesting tweet. "What a gross thing to say. You should be ashamed," the 36-year-old actress debated. "I like Diane. You must feel really awful about yourself to attack someone you don't know. I suggest looking inward, lady. Get a life."

Morgan, who was also tagged in the tweet, couldn't agree more with his wife. "Booom. Shut that s**t down," the 52-year-old simply replied.

The two weren't the only ones defending Kruger though. After Burton slammed the online troll, a slew of her followers also voiced their frustration. "Breastfeeding moms can drink. It's called pump and dump," one user wrote, while another chirped, "Firstly, you don't know she's breastfeeding, secondly, you don't know what was in that glass, thirdly, WTAF does it have to do with you?"

The tweet at the center of the debate was posted by a user under the name of @truelover070. While the user's account has since been listed as "protected," the user originally shared a picture of Kruger enjoying a drink with a note that read, "Dear @JDMorgan @HilarieBurton. Can you say to Aunt Diane that after birth she can't drink alcohol (bc breastfeeding). I think you both as great parents you know what I mean. I know that uncle Norman need a drink bc of her (Diane). But that poor New born baby."
Kruger reportedly welcomed her first child with boyfriend Norman Reedus in early November. While no details about the baby's gender or name has been shared, the newborn is Reedus' second child. The actor, who stars opposite Morgan on "The Walking Dead", is already a father to 19-year-old Mingus Lucien, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Helena Christensen.
