Larry Stein, an attorney for the 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker, confirms the settlement of the case before requesting public to let the rapper and Layla Lace move on with their lives.

AceShowbiz - Drake has settled his legal battle with the woman who accused him of raping and impregnating her.

The rapper filed legal documents on Friday, November 30, revealing he and Layla Lace had resolved their spat.

According to the paperwork, obtained by TMZ, she has agreed she will not republish her April, 2017 Instagram post, in which she first made the pregnancy claim.

She also told police officials in New York that Drake had raped her during a one-night stand.

Drake claimed her lawyer then demanded money to keep the allegation under wraps, prompting him to sue her for civil extortion, defamation and fraud.

Layla has now agreed to make no more statements "alleging or insinuating" that Drake assaulted her, got her pregnant and abandoned her, or anything else disparaging about him, according to the outlet.

Drake's attorney Larry Stein tells TMZ, "The filing, made by Drake against Layla Lace, has been resolved, with Layla avoiding going to trial by agreeing to a stipulated judgment which prohibits her from repeating past statements she made against Drake."

"Drake and his team are satisfied with this outcome and while Drake appreciates the support he has received, he asks that his fans and the media allow both parties to move on with their lives."
