AceShowbiz - John Legend has become the latest act to release a Christmas music video, following Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Getting into holiday spirit, the EGOT winner unveiled the visuals for "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" on Wednesday night, November 28.

It opens with the singer opening up a red curtain before taking a seat on the sofa behind him, sipping his drink. Two children then join him relaxing on the couch as they dip their biscuits to a glass of milk. Esperanza Spalding, who is featured on the song, appears to deliver her verse atop a retro television.

There is also a scene of the collaborators belting out the jazzy rendition of the classic in front of a group of children. "Here we are as in olden days/ Happy golden days of yore," they beautifully harmonize. "Faithful friends who are dear to us/ Gather near to us once again."

The scene then changes to show how children is celebrating the holiday, with one little boy selling his Christmas cake while two other boys are busy decorating their Christmas tree. John is also seen in one scene sitting on a grand chair while wearing a Santa Claus hat.

The release of the music video arrived shortly after John and Chrissy Teigen's Christmas special aired on NBC. The star-studded special featured guest appearances from Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Stevie Wonder and Awkwafina among others.

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is one of the tracks off John's holiday album "A Legendary Christmas" which hit the stores on October 26 via Columbia Records. The "All of Me" hitmaker is currently hitting the road in support of the record. Launching on November 15 in Florida, the 25-trek will wrap up on December 30 at San Diego Civic Theatre in San Diego, California.
