AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus might have lost her home to the raging California wildfire, but it doesn't mean she can't happily spend her birthday. The "Malibu" singer, who turned 26 on Friday, November 23, was thrown an early birthday party when she gathered together with her family and fiance Liam Hemsworth to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Even though they didn't surprise her with a big and extravagant bash, the former Hannah Montana depicter was still thankful for their gesture. As seen in an Instagram Stories video posted by Trace Cyrus, Miley covered her face with both hands to prevent her from crying when Billy Ray Cyrus carried a cake out to his daughter. The other members of the family, including Noah Cyrus, then started singing "Happy Birthday" to her.
Billy later took to Instagram to share a picture from the mini celebration, expressing how thankful he was to still be able to celebrate the occasion. "Thankful for this moment," he said, before praying for victims of the raging blaze. "My thoughts and prayers with so many hearts that need mended. Peace and love to you all."
Obviously, Liam also wished his on-again fiancee a happy birthday with sweet message. Along with a picture of Miley holding a pooch while being surrounded by balloons, "The Hunger Games" star wrote on the photo-sharing platform, "Happy birthday to my sweet girl. You're more precious than ever. So thankful to have you in my life."
Miley and Liam are among the victims of Woolsey Fire who got their home destroyed. "It's been a heartbreaking few days. This is what's left of my house. Love," he wrote along with a pic of the current status of their home. "Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires."
