AceShowbiz - Wedding bells are reportedly on the way for The Weeknd and his girlfriend Bella Hadid. As the relationship between the Canadian singer and his on-again model lady heats up, it is said that it won't be too long before he gets down on one knee and propose to her.
A source with the knowledge shares to Us Weekly in the new issue of the magazine, "They're madly in love with each other," to the point where the "Starboy" hitmaker is gearing up to put a ring on it. "A proposal is on the horizon," the insider continues.
His friends allegedly have started to notice it too, according to another source. "A lot of his friends are starting to take bets on how long it will be before he puts a ring on it," so the inside source claims to HollywoodLife.com. "He used to always talk about how scary the thought of marriage was to him but now that he's back with Bella, he's stopped saying that and instead he talks about being with her for life."
The insider goes on saying that his friends are now convinced that an engagement will happen extremely soon. "It's a big change that all his friends have noticed and it's got them thinking he'll propose to her soon," so the source shares.
The Weeknd and Bella have been dating on-and-off for the past few years. The couple initially called it quits in 2016 after dating for a year due to scheduling conflicts. But they recently rekindled their romance after the "Pray for Me" singer broke up with Selena Gomez. Since then, the pair have been pretty much inseparable.
Last month, it was reported that the lovers took the next step in their relationship when the younger sister of Gigi Hadid decided to move into his condo in New York. "He asked her to move in and she, of course, agreed," a source said at the time.
