Venting his frustration online after going back to a flooded home thanks to his pet, the former 'Malcolm in the Middle' star tells fans he just needed some support.

AceShowbiz - Former child star Frankie Muniz has been left "devastated" after suffering severe flooding at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona thanks to his pet cat.

The "Malcolm in the Middle" star, 32, took to Twitter on Thursday, November 15 to share his heartbreak after his belongings were ruined during a short trip out of town to attend a family funeral.

"I arrived home from my uncle's funeral to find 4 (stories) of my 5 story brownstone home under 3 feet of water," he wrote.

"Everything I own, destroyed. Every wall, piece of artwork, personal photos, furniture... All because my cat accidentally turned on a sink a few days ago while we were gone".

Admitting he was "devastated and exhausted from a tough week", he explained returning home to such a "disaster" made him break down in tears.

"I've cried more yesterday and today then my whole life combined," he tweeted. "Forgive me for venting.. I just need some support".

Muniz also thanked his girlfriend for helping him come to terms with the turn of events, which forced the couple to check into a nearby hotel, but even that stay hasn't been without drama.

"Just woke up to fire alarms and had to evacuate the hotel we are staying in because of what happened to our house," he posted on Saturday morning. "This has been an eventful week".
