While she is not a thrill seeker, the 'Girls Trip' actress reveals she has to do the skydive in Dubai since she has promised her husband that she would say yes to his requests for a full year.

AceShowbiz - Jada Pinkett Smith fulfilled her husband Will Smith's 50th birthday wish by skydiving.

The Independence Day star celebrated the milestone last month and asked his wife to jump out of a plane in Dubai to mark the special occasion. Jada obliged but she was not thrilled about the idea.

"He said, 'This is my birthday gift to him'," she tells People magazine. "He was like, 'I want you to come to Dubai and I want to see... you skydive. That is what I want for my birthday'. I was like, 'Really bro?' I haven't done a d**n thing Will has wanted me to do in seven years!"

Jada is not a fan of adrenaline-inducing stunts, but she promised her husband she would give him a full year, during which she would say yes to his quirky requests.

"I think, for Will, he has always been adventurous," she says. "For now, in his life, he has released himself to be more of that."

"I'm not really adventurous in that way and he has been having his adventures and I told him, 'These are the years - you're turning 50, so this is the year of yes for me to you because I'm always telling you no,' so this one year is a yes," she adds.

The actress' skydiving excursion on Monday, October 15, comes after her husband bungee jumped from a helicopter over the Grand Canyon on his birthday last month.

"First Day of 50! I'm just getting started," he captioned an image of himself dangling from the aircraft. "I'm gonna celebrate for 365 days."
