AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande's love for her pet pig, Piggy Smalls, is surely over the top. While most musicians usually waste all the time and money in the world to make a high-production visuals, the pop princess only needs the teeny pig when she released music video for the fan-favorite "Breathin" on Wednesday, October 10.
The three-minute visuals features Piggy Smalls trotting around on a big gray fur inside what appears to be her New York apartment with Pete Davidson. This is surely an odd choice, considering that Ariana often goes all out when it comes to her music video. "God Is a Woman" music video, for example, features scenes of her sitting on the earth and a monologue from Madonna.
The strange visuals aside, her vocals are as breathtaking as ever. Singing about overcoming anxiety, she rhymes, "Sometimes it's hard to find, find my way up into the clouds/ Tune it out, they can be so loud/ You remind me of a time when things weren't so complicated/ All I need is to see your face."
Fans are unexpectedly loving the clip, with one person claiming that Ariana is "pushing boundaries in mainstream pop unlike anyone else." S/he adds, "She creates groundbreaking high art with videos like this. Truly a legend whom I stan." Some even dub it "the best music video ever."
Ariana showed off Piggy Smalls for the first time last month, sharing several pictures of her and Pete cuddling with the animal. Pete opened up about their new pet during his appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers", explaining how they adopted the tiny pig.
"This girl, like, she was like, 'I want a pig,' " the comedian told host Seth Meyers. "And then an hour later it was just there. You know what I mean? Like, I'm still trying to get, like, a Propecia refill... This chick got a pig in a f***ing hour. The first two days it was like really new and, like, didn't move much. But then, now, it's starting to bite and, you know, start to do stuff... I love it. I want it to get big and fat."
