The actor who gained a Tony nomination for his depiction of Alexander Hamilton will be reprising his role for 24 performances in 2019 to benefit the Flamboyan Arts Fund.

AceShowbiz - Lin-Manuel Miranda will reprise his role in hit stage musical "Hamilton" for a 24-performance run in Puerto Rico early next year.

The singer and actor revealed he would be staging the show at the University of Puerto Rico last year in an effort to raise money, awareness, and hope for islanders left devastated by Hurricane Maria, while also putting a smile on a few faces.

Now, Miranda has revealed he'll be revisiting the role of Alexander Hamilton for 24 performances of "Hamilton".

"It's a struggle to be an arts organization anywhere, particularly on an island that's been hurt by one of the worst hurricanes in history," Miranda told People. "I believe art helps us survive. We can't wait for Puerto Rico to recover to then support the arts because there is no telling when that will be. We need to support the artists who are out there now. We need to have their backs."

The performances, which will mark the first time Miranda has played the role since he left the original "Hamilton" cast on Broadway, will benefit the Flamboyan Arts Fund, which the actor has co-founded to help preserve and sustain the arts in Puerto Rico.

Earlier this year, Lin-Manuel addressed concerns about power outages during his Hamilton run, telling Puerto Ricans he would stage the musical by flashlight if necessary.

Vowing the show must go on as major power cuts continue to hit the nation in April, the actor took to Twitter to urge fans to keep donating to charities supporting those affected by the hurricane, writing: "I'm not an electrician, and I wish to God today I were, but here are some places you can help."

He then shared a link to World Central Kitchen, a non-profit that helps to feed the victims of natural disasters, before adding, "And for the record, if I have to play Hamilton with a f**king flashlight under my face in one hand and a dueling pistol in the other, belting like (singer) Ethel motherf**king Merman because there's no power to the mics, that's what i'm gonna do. See you in January no matter what."
