The 'Love Rosa' rapper was reportedly at his San Fernando Valley home when the incident, in which a suspect allegedly shot fire, happened.

AceShowbiz - An armed robbery at Chief Keef's California home was reportedly thwarted by police officers on Sunday night, September 23.

Keef, real name Keith Farrelle Cozart, was at his house in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley when the incident, in which shots were allegedly fired by a suspect, took place, according to TMZ.

Sources tell editors at the gossip website that a trio of alleged burglars scaled an outer wall and threw bricks through a window and at least one made it into the property.

However, police officers in the area have been on high alert following a spate of recent robberies and plainclothes detectives were on hand to apprehend two suspects, while a third made his escape in a car.

One suspect reportedly let off a firearm during the alleged robbery - but no one was harmed by the gunfire. The two captured men have reportedly been booked on burglary and weapons charges.

TMZ reporters have also claimed that Keef, 23, had no knowledge of what was happening outside.

The hip-hop star is the latest celebrity living in the San Fernando Valley to be targeted by criminals, as French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, Bella Thorne and Christina Milian have all been the victims of attempted robberies of late.
