The music video finds the country singer making a reference to the gun attacks that have been happening a lot in the U.S.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Underwood unleashed a new single entitled "Love Wins" late last month, and now the song has gotten a music video treatment. The visuals was first released on Apple Music before heading to other streaming sites on Tuesday, September 11.

Directed by Shane Drake, the almost four-minute clip starts off with a rather gloomy atmosphere. People are seen looking distressed and dirty as they walk down the road. It's clear that a chaos has happened as there are a lot of wrecked cars.

Making it more gloomy than it already is, Carrie sings, "Stray bullet and a mama cries/ Her baby won't be coming home tonight/ Sirens coming down the avenue/ Just another story on the evening news." The lyrics is definitely a reference to the gun attacks that have been happening a lot recently. She also touched on the "politics and prejudice" of the country's divided culture.

The gloomy vibes are soon changed as the song reaches its chorus. The people start smiling happily and holding hands while they continue walking. The scene then changes to show the country singer performing the song at a festival where people are covered in colorful paints. They look like they are having fun spraying the paint and dance along with each other.

The end of the music video features the concertgoers making heart signs to the camera.

"Love Wins" will be included on Carrie's forthcoming sixth studio album "Cry Pretty", which will be released on September 14. The effort will mark her first album with her new record label Capitol Records Nashville and her first co-producing album.

The country singer, who is currently pregnant with her second child, is set to embark on a tour in support of her album. Joined by Maddie & Tae and Runaway June, she will launch the trek on May 1, 2019 in Greensboro before heading to Oakland and Indianapolis among others. The tour will conclude on October 31 in Detroit.
