AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen opens up about her unhealthy experience after giving birth to daughter Luna Simone Stephens, whom she shares with her singer husband, John Legend. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model admits that she drank too much as she suffered severe postpartum depression after her daughter's birth two years ago.
"After Luna, I was drinking too much," Chrissy tells Women's Health. "I wasn't eating as much because I was full from drinking. I wasn't being good to my body." She adds, "I remember being so bruised from nothing." The 32-year-old cookbook author also implies that her past condition was "torturous."
After taking an antidepressant, Chrissy started to feel "normal" again and she decided to go on a wellness retreat at COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali with John. "It's like, what could be more important than mental health?" she says. "What's more important than being proud of yourself and doing the best you can for your body?"
During the interview with the magazine, the "Lip Sync Battle" co-host then reveals her new thoughts about her body. "With your second, you just, like, pop 'em on. I look at my boobs and I'm like, 'What the heck happened?' They face outwards now," she shares. "They're like giant disks. I don't even know how to hide them. I forget that people are still like, 'Whoa!' And I don't mean to shove my boob in their faces."
Chrissy, who gave birth to son Miles Theodore in May, also opens up about her changing sex life after having two babies. "It doesn't matter who you are - even if you're a sexy R&B crooner or an ex-swimsuit model, you're just tired!" she explains.
"We still have that passion for each other, but are we doing it randomly in a dressing room? No!" she laughs before adding, "We'll get back into it again. But it is funny, if he performs somewhere, and I go, I'm like, 'Oh, he's sexy,' We'll probably have sex that night."
