AceShowbiz - Comedienne Whitney Cummings is engaged.
The stand-up comic and former "Roseanne" executive producer took to Instagram on Wednesday, September 05 and posted video of her reaction to Miles Skinner's surprise proposal on her birthday.
Cummings was left nearly speechless, joking she "would have gotten a manicure" for the big moment had she known it was coming. Wiping tears from her face, she asks, "What is happening? Is this real?"
She captioned the video: "Today I got engaged. I handled it great! This just goes to show that if you work on yourself, trust your gut, and keep your ego in check you too can find love on a dating app."
She also posted a photo of the moment she was handed her new engagement ring, with Skinner down on one knee.
Little is known about the pair's courtship, as Whitney has been keen to keep it private, but during an appearance on U.S. late night show "Conan" last year (November 2017), she chatted about online dating and revealed she had been dating a guy for 10 months.
She also told host Conan O'Brien she was keen to keep her boyfriend away from her comedy shows, adding, "I think some things are better kept secret. I don't look at his porn, he doesn't look at my stand-up, it's a very good balance."
