AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik's first designs for The Kooples have been teased on social media.
It was announced in May that the British popstar was making history as the first menswear muse for the French label, and as well as appearing in the fall 18 adverts, Zayn has also co-designed a range of bags.
Now, brand representatives have uploaded two photos and a video clip to The Kooples official Instagram account, giving fans a glimpse of what the Pillowtalk star has been working on.
"We are glad to announce the debut collection of men's bags, for the first time teaming up with a male muse @zayn, to co-create an exclusive collaboration! #StayTuned to discover the collection! #ZaynbyTheKooples," they wrote alongside one photo of Zayn with a tartan backpack slung over his shoulder.
And next to an image of the 25-year-old holding a camo backpack, the rep wrote: "@zayn co-designs a collection of limited-edition backpacks that reflects the new urban and streetwear direction of our men's collections. #StayTuned to get yours! #ZaynbyTheKooples."
A video was also uploaded, with the clip showing Zayn wearing a hoodie while holding one of his designs.
Nicolas Dreyfus, The Kooples co-founder and chief executive officer, previously told WWD why the label chose the former One Direction star as a brand ambassador.
"He has a rebellious, tough attitude with a casual yet always elegant sense of style. Zayn is sexy, creative and charismatic and was deeply involved throughout the design and creation process," Nicolas said. "He is also a renowned top singer worldwide, a social media star with 29 million followers on Instagram and an influencer targeted toward Millennials, who remain at the heart of our digital strategy."
Emily Ratajkowski has previously designed bags for The Kooples, while Irina Shayk and Stella Maxwell are the new womenswear campaign stars.
