AceShowbiz - Liam Payne celebrated his 25th birthday on Wednesday, August 29 with a lavish party at a luxury resort on the Indonesian island of Bali.

The One Direction star marked his special day with a huge bash at the $500-a-night (£400-a-night) Mulia Resort, where guests included American actress Victoria Justice and Il Divo singer Sebastien Izambard.

Victoria's half-sister Madison Grace also attended and shared pictures and videos of the celebrations with her Instagram followers.

One video showed Liam, dressed all in black, preparing to cut a giant music-themed cake prepared for him. Madison also posted a snap of the traditional Indonesian menu - which included barbecued meats and muscle linguine.

Guests were also treated to a display of Indonesian drumming held in the resort's outdoor theatre. The pop star's 17-month-old son Bear wasn't pictured at the party and it's believed he is back in the U.K. where he lives with his mother, British singer Cheryl.

Liam announced his split from the former Girls Aloud star last month, and he has since reportedly moved on with 20-year-old model Cairo Dwek - who he took on a romantic trip to Italy.

He has not shared any pictures or videos from his birthday bash - but he did post a snap of the superhero birthday card he received from his parents. In a video Liam also thanked his fans for their birthday wishes.

The Strip That Down singer recently admitted he was feeling "fragile" after his break-up, telling Britain's The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 radio show: "I'm feeling OK, I'm a bit fragile at times. No, I'm alright you know, it's been OK. Obviously, there's a lot of stuff I've still got to sort out with my life."

The singer also delayed the release of his debut solo album due to the split - explaining that he wanted to change several tracks to reflect the fact his relationship was over.
