AceShowbiz - A new detail about Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra's whirlwind romance has emerged online. Following rumors of their engagement, the lovebirds are reportedly planning to introduce their families to one another soon.
According to a source, the "Quantico" actress is planning a party for her close friends and family in Mumbai, India this weekend. It remains to be seen as to why Priyanka is holding the bash, but her friends believe that she "may make an official announcement about her relationship status at the bash."
Nick will allegedly be attending the party along with his family too. PEOPLE additionally reports that they will have a get together with her family, including mother Madhu and brother Siddarth. "He and his family are going to India to meet her family," a second source says to the website.
Their engagement rumors first sparked last month when a source alleged that Nick popped the question during her birthday celebration in London, England. According to the insider, the youngest Jonas brother proposed in a "very private and romantic setting with just the two of them."
Nick appeared to confirm the speculation when he celebrated launch of his new John Varvatos fragrance earlier this month. According to Us Weekly, a guest at the New York event congratulated Nick on his engagement and he graciously replied, "Thanks, man."
Meanwhile, Priyanka refused to give any comment when asked about the engagement during an interactive session at Dehli's Taj Palace Hotel Dhaula Kuan. "Ninety percent of my life is for public consumption, but 10 percent it for me. I'm a girl; I have the right to keep that to myself," she said, adding that her family, friends and relationship "are thing I don't think I need to defend or explain to anyone."
