In response to the critic who mistook her as her teen daughter in one sexy video, the actress writes, 'Did you eat a lot of cheese and then have a nap?'

AceShowbiz - Kate Beckinsale has dubbed herself "the problem child" after an Instagram video viewer mistook the actress for her daughter and criticised her parenting skills.
The Underworld star turned 45 last week, July 26 and continued celebrations for her birthday on Saturday, July 28 by attending the 80's Weekend gig in Los Angeles, where she got to introduce Adam Ant onstage.
Overjoyed Kate, who wore a black crop top and mini skirt, shared footage of herself at the show with pals, including her ex-boyfriend Michael Sheen, the father of her 19-year-old daughter Lily, as they all had a little fun and danced to the music.
"If my seven year old self knew this was in her future she would have eaten several boxes of crayons from excitement and had a panic attack," she quipped in the accompanying caption. "I can't say it wasn't a risk all these years later either. What an AMAZING night. Thank you. #adamant #antmusic".
Many fans responded to the post by sharing their love for Adam Ant and complimenting Kate for her youthful looks, but one user thought the crop top-wearing beauty featured in the clip was her teenage daughter, and blasted the Brit for allowing her girl to dress in such sexy attire.
"Why would you want your young daughter to jump around like a naive skimpy-dressed future problem child Kate?," asked a user by the name of Ben. "My daughter, I wouldn't accept doing that at all publicly... I'm not rich, famous, celebrity, Hollywood, etc, but maybe you are actually, decent actress, but properly deluded real-life parent wise (sic)".
Kate was quick to reply, suggesting dairy may have made him delusional, writing, "ummm she's neither skimpily dressed nor jumping around. Did you eat a lot of cheese and then have a nap?".
She quickly realised Ben was actually referring to her appearance in the video, and followed up the post by daring him to share his parenting criticisms with her mother, English actress Judy Loe.
"That's me jumping around and skimpily dressed," Kate continued. "So in fact I'm the problem child. But say that to my mum at your peril".
Kate and Michael's concert outing occurred a day after the exes, and their daughter Lily, took part in a goat yoga session as part of the birthday girl's celebrations.
She uploaded video and photos from Friday's unusual fitness session online, and revealed one of the goats had accidentally relieved itself on Michael's yoga mat.
"Best birthday ever. We all prayed that the goat's blessings would happen on Michael's mat and they did," she wrote alongside a series of images. "Thank you #laughingfrogyoga and #hellocrittercare for such a fun day and also to Billy and Burlap, for knowing instinctively where to friendly fire".
