Fans have written harsh comments on Dani Vitale's Instagram posts after the backup dancer hinted that she was with the singer the night before her alleged drug overdose and hospitalization.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato's backup dancer has been at the receiving end of fans' anger following the star's alleged overdose. People have been blaming Dani Vitale for what happened to the singer as she hinted that she was with the former Disney Channel star the night before her hospitalization.

Dani, who celebrated her birthday earlier this week, took to Instagram to post her photo with Demi as well as picture from her small birthday celebration. "Thank you @ddlovato for my birthday day and for this MIND BLOWING past year with you," she wrote in the caption. She added, "I can't wait to see what is to come and continue to be so inspired by you."

27. What. A. Year. Every year on my birthday I make a small, feasible list of things I want to accomplish to stay on track. I can proudly say while holding back little baby tears that I’ve surpassed this years list extraordinarily. Each year comes with change, growth, knowledge, new experiences, humans and uncertainty. I can proudly say that I welcomed it all with open fucking arms. I will never forget you 27. You gave me SO much in 1 year. My students, meeting new students around THE WORLD, choreographing, directing, creative directing, and dancing for a handful of huge beautifully talented and inspiring artists. To TRAVEL and do what I LOVE and create along side my best friend for 20 years. This is the first year in my life I’ve truly started believing in myself. I’m a hard headed girl that perseveres but it’s taken me a long time to look myself in the mirror and say, “ya, you did that”. It. Changed. Everything. Thank you @ddlovato for my birthday day and for this MIND BLOWING past year with you ❤️ I can’t wait to see what is to come and continue to be so inspired by you. Thank you to ALL my babies and adults ;) who have graced my classroom. Thank you to my tour family for the constant love and lessons you’ve taught me. To every dancer who did any TV spot or live show with me it was a dream to work with you all. My family for understanding and always supportive of this amazing career I’ve chosen. To my friends that are forever by my side and continue to be the rocks in my life. For all of you who follow all my ups, downs and adventures :) And to dance. For allowing me to express myself, my dreams and my mission all across the world. I can’t wait to see what 28 has to bring 💕 #birthdaysuit Thank you: @tonytouchmarino @brendonurie @lukebroadlick @mattypcock @scott_myrick @jayme_rae @jackietlloyd @dmv01 @joeythao @seanmalto @imngo @lizguerrieri @leinbinder @soheyheyhey @itsjovannisoto @_maxlea_ @kelseykershner @max_iger @jesseblevins @nicholasesmall @nickjvitale @underarmourwomen @alanahrodriguez @calvitjr

TMZ additionally reported that Demi was at the Saddle Ranch restaurant celebrating the birthday of one of her backup dancers on Monday, July 23, the same night she threw a wild party at her house. This led fans to believe that Dani was partly responsible for Demi's hospitalization.

"I hope you pay for what you did to her. I really hate you for hurting her and I hope you get exposed for the trash you really are," one wrote on the backup dancer's most recent post. Another went as far as sending a death threat to Dani, "B***h this is my last words to you get away from @ddlovato if you just talking about her so be ready to die I told you."

Another found an alleged connection between Dani and Demi's rehab stint back in 2010. "Y'know what, I'm just gonna say it. Its no coincidence that Dani was on the Camp Rock 2 tour when D had to leave for treatment the first time, and she was present at the party the other night. Hopefully people stop overlooking the situation and facts and somebody beats her a**," one wrote on Twitter.

Another person threatened to beat Dani when he/she sees Dani in public. "Lovatics when we catch Dani Vitale in public," the Twitter user wrote along with a video of a fight.

Dani has not responded to the threats and accusations she received from Demi's fans.

Meanwhile, a representative for the "Cool for the Summer" singer said on Tuesday that the star's "awake and with her family" after rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles. The cause of her overdose remains unknown, but a new report suggested the singer used Meth before passing out.
