AceShowbiz - An extraordinary storm is coming in the new trailer of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 4B. Released during the show's panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 on Friday, July 20, it gives viewers what to expect from the second half of the season after [SPOILER ALERT!] Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) was killed off.
The three-and-a-half-minute trailer begins with the remaining survivors of the group weathering an incredible zombie-filled storm, which seems to break the group. "They could be anywhere," Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) says. "We could find them, or we could find them dead, or we could die trying to find them."
Some new characters are also introduced in the trailer. Stephen Henderson plays a stranger whom Luciana Galvez (Danay Garcia) decides to help because she has "some things to make up for." Aaron Standford and Mo Collins portray a couple who keeps track of the zombies they kill on their car window. They wind up on the receiving end of Morgan Jones' (Lennie James) bo-staff maneuvers.
Speaking of Morgan, he is also seen staring into a mirror with some troubling words scrawled on his forehead. It reads, "I lose people, I lose myself." This appears to be a sign that the man is once again on the brink of losing his mind.
Furthermore, the group seemingly will have a new opponent for the remainder of this season. A woman can be heard saying in voiceover, "I know who you really are. I know what you're really capable of. And I can see it. It's still there. It's still there."
During the show's panel at the annual con, creators discussed what viewers could expect from the second half of season 4. Scott Gimple talked about the impending natural disaster, while Ian Goldberg said the themes would be "redemption." He noted, "There are characters that want to make up for some of the things they've done. It's also about hope and keeping Madison's legacy alive."
"Fear the Walking Dead" returns on August 12 on AMC.
