AceShowbiz - Halsey broke down during her gig, just days after her split from G-Eazy.
The 23-year-old singer took to her Instagram Story timeline on Tuesday, July 3 to share the news with fans, after some noticed she had recently deleted many of her previous photos featuring G-Eazy.
"I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel I need to inform my fans," she began. "G-Eazy and I are taking some apart.
"I'm eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time."
And while performing at the Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, Michigan on Friday, she began crying while singing her ballad "Sorry", which features the lyrics: "Someone will love you / But someone isn't me."
Fans at the gig shared the emotional moment on social media, and Halsey can be seen faltering as she sings, before crying and wiping her eyes.
Shortly before the split announcement, the singer had hinted at a break-up by sharing a snap of herself posing with her dog.
"kiss my dog on the forehead and then kiss ur (sic) a** goodbye," she captioned the image, referencing lyrics from Drake's new track, 8 out of 10.
The pair was first linked in July, 2017, and the stars went public with their romance by stepping out as a couple during New York Fashion Week last September.
They also hit the red carpet together at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards in June.
