AceShowbiz - Carrie Underwood celebrated Canada's Independence Day on Sunday, July 01 by sharing a snap of herself with her "favourite Canadian".

The singer's husband, ice hockey star Mike Fisher, was born and raised in Ontario and played hockey for the Ottawa Senators before eventually moving to the Nashville Predators in Tennessee.

Carrie posted a shot of the couple on Instagram, adding: "Sending lots of love to all my family and friends in the Great White North".
