AceShowbiz - Imagine Dragons star Dan Reynolds will always love his wife and creative partner even after their divorce.
The singer announced the split news in April, revealing his marriage to Aja Volkman was over after seven years.
In a statement posted on Twitter, Dan wrote: "Our children continue to be the most important thing in our lives & we will continue to co-parent them with all our love. I ask that you please respect our privacy at this time as we work through this as a family."
Reynolds and Aja met in 2010, while performing at the nightclub Wasted Space in Las Vegas, and they wed the following year.
Now, the Believer singer, who shares three daughters with Volkman, has opened up further about the break-up, insisting his estranged wife is "the reason I'm anything today".
"All the activism in my life, all my musical accomplishments come from her," the star tells Ellen DeGeneres. "She's my best friend, she has been my creative partner for 10 years and hopefully for the rest of my life."
"Marriage is difficult to begin with," he adds, "and then, when you add a husband who is gone 90 per cent of the year, doing something that I really believe in, it's just tough.
"We're just working through it."
