According to a source, a judge orders Norma Gibson to turn over 10-year-old Shayla's passport to prevent the child from going to the country with her mother.

AceShowbiz - Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson scored a small victory in his ongoing custody battle with his ex-wife after a judge ruled she couldn't take couple's daughter to Israel.

Norma Gibson attended an emergency court hearing on Tuesday, June 05, as she sought permission to take 10-year-old Shayla overseas on vacation.

The Fate of the Furious star's lawyers objected to her request, citing security concerns. According to The Blast, the judge sided with Gibson and ordered Norma to turn over Shayla's passport, so she couldn't travel with her.

The movie star and Norma have been battling it out in court since last year (17), after she accused him of spanking their child so severely she couldn't sit down. During the legal spat, Tyrese was prevented from seeing Shayla.

He was finally awarded 50/50 custody and the actor is now seeking primary custody, so he can raise Shayla in Atlanta, Georgia with her baby sister, who is due in September.
