Skrulls Reportedly to Appear in 'Avengers 4'
Movie

The Skrulls' appearance will allegedly explain what Hawkeye has been up to and how Captain Marvel is brought into the fold.

AceShowbiz - There has been rumor that Captain Marvel will appear in "Avengers 4". While it has not been confirmed yet, the female superhero may bring with her her famous enemy, the Skrulls. A new report says the race of shape-shifting aliens will be part of the "Avengers: Infinity War" sequel.

According to MCU Cosmic (via The Hashtag Show), the opening scene of the upcoming movie will explain what Hawkeye is up to between "Infinity War" and the upcoming movie. Clint Barton, under the guise of his new alter ego of Ronin, is hunting down some Yakuza who turn out to be Skrulls.

It appears that Thanos banishing half of the population gives the Skrulls the push they needed to finally invade Earth. In fact, it's reported that "Captain Marvel" will center around Kree-Skrull war. This goes along with a rumor which says that when we saw Nick Fury and Maria Hill at the end of "Infinity War", he was sending a message to Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel, believing that the catastrophe has something to do with the aliens.

However, Skrulls' part in the fourth Avengers movie will be a minor one.

Little has been known about "Avengers 4", as the movie has been shrouded in secrecy. Those who have watched "Infinity War" may know that there's no guarantee their favorite Marvel characters will all return in the upcoming movie.

But Zoe Saldana, who reprises her "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" role of Gamora in "Infinity War", recently dropped a big hint that her character would return in the follow-up movie, despite her apparent death in "Infinity War".

"At least for me, it felt like a [to be continued]," she said in an interview. "Because I knew that we will have to all come back, at some point this fall, and finish up the fourth installment of 'Avengers'...It felt like see you later, not like a formal goodbye."

"Avengers 4" was filmed back-to-back with "Infinity War" and is set to arrive on May 3, 2019 in the United States.
