AceShowbiz - Bella Hadid and Alexander Wang have been tapped to star in a new campaign for Magnum ice cream. The American supermodel and the fashion designer were unveiled as the faces of the brand's Take Pleasure Seriously marketing imagery on Wednesday, May 2, and also featured in an accompanying video.

Released on YouTube, the footage depicts Bella, 21, modelling a black gown as part of a photo shoot, before proceeding to indulge in a chocolate-covered Magnum ice cream.

"I appreciate the pleasures in life and am not afraid to indulge in between the chaotic pace of modelling," she said in a statement. "Starring in this short film with my friend Alexander Wang felt like a totally indulgent experience."

To create the film, producers for Magnum worked closely with Wang, who wanted to challenge the stereotypically serious fashion film. And both brand representatives and the design star were thrilled with the final result, which they claim "captivates the pure indulgence of Magnum."

"The collaboration with Magnum has been all about pleasure and indulgence," added Wang. "Working with Bella to show the expert craft that goes into a Magnum is something I am very proud of. It's great to collaborate with Magnum on this campaign, showing people the importance of pleasure in life."

The campaign will officially launch during the Cannes International Film Festival on May 10, with adverts to appear on billboards in the French city during the film event.

Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin have previously starred in Magnum ads.
