AceShowbiz - Dakota Johnson and Benicio Del Toro were big winners at the 2018 CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards on Thursday, April 26 after receiving Star of the Year honors for their new films. Johnson was feted for her upcoming movies "Suspiria", "The Peanut Butter Falcon", and "Bad Times at the El Royale", while Del Toro was honored for "Sicario: Day of the Soldado".

Anna Kendrick received the Cinema Spotlight Award for "A Simple Favor" and Black Panther's Ryan Coogler was named Director of the Year. Samuel L. Jackson was also feted with the Cinema Icon Award, while Jonah Hill received the CinemaCon Vanguard Award.

Meanwhile, breakout star Tiffany Haddish was named the Female Star of Tomorrow and Felicity Jones took home the accolade for the Award of Excellence in Acting. Taron Egerton, Jack Black, Gabrielle Union, and Jodie Foster were also honored at the Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
