They do seem to be determined to avoid each other ast they attend the party separately with Justin making his exit once Jennifer arrives at the birthday bash in Hollywood.

AceShowbiz - Newly-estranged couple Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux almost had an awkward run-in at a birthday bash for Jimmy Kimmel's 1-year-old son Billy. They did seem to be determined to avoid each other as they attended the party separately, which took place at the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host's Hollywood Hills home on April 21, separately.

According to a source, Jennifer, who kept casual in a gray tank top, black sandals and boyfriend jeans, "got there around 12:15 P.M. PT." The source went on saying to Us Weekly, "She arrived with a girlfriend and was wearing the hand brace on her left hand. As she arrived to Jimmy's house, Justin was seen leaving."

It was said that Justin "spent about 40 minutes at the party." Meanwhile, Jennifer was there for about 2 hours as she "left around 2 P.M. PT."

According to an eyewitness, "Justin was in and out and acted totally normal" at the bash. However, it was seemingly not the case for Jennifer. The "Friends" alum allegedly "did look a bit nervous. ... They didn't see each other."

It's such a bliss to see that Jennifer and Justin manage their friendship with Jimmy despite the two's recent split. Justin even took to his Instagram account to give a birthday shoutout to Billy, who underwent two open-heart surgeries prior to this. "Happy ONE year birthday Billy!" "The Leftovers" alum captioned a photo of him with the birthday boy. "A boy who in 365 days has done more for American national health care than we could all wish to do in our lifetimes. He doesn't even know yet how courageous he is. An honor to know him and his incredible and equally courageous parents."

Following their separation in February, both Justin and Jennifer seemed to be moving on just fine. A source told PEOPLE that "Jen is doing well." The source continued, "She is keeping busy and moving on with her life." Another source added that the "We're the Millers" star's friends "have really rallied around her … She is loving being with her girls. She has a great attitude."

Justin and Jennifer split after seven years together and two years of marriage. "In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship," they said in a joint statement.
