The 'Step Up' star attended the St. Jude Hope and Heritage Gala in New York City on Friday, April 20, during which she was presented with a humanitarian award.

AceShowbiz - Jenna Dewan made her first public appearance since splitting from Channing Tatum as she accepted a humanitarian award. The 37-year-old actress was honored at the St. Jude Hope & Heritage Gala in New York City for her dedication to supporting the hospital with essential financial contributions that helped further their pioneering research and lifesaving treatments for children.

Jenna brought her father Darryll along to the event as her date, and was dressed in an embroidered Zuhair Murad gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

She took to Instagram later on Friday, April 20, to thank St. Jude for her award. "Thank you @stjude for this incredible honor (sic)! I am so proud of everything you do and continue to do for children," she wrote alongside a photo of her holding the trophy.

"Love ya dad," she captioned another picture of herself with her father.

Jenna and Channing, who share four-year-old daughter Everly, announced their split on 2 April.

Earlier on Friday, the "Step Up" star subtly dropped the Tatum from her name on social media.
