AceShowbiz - Can you believe? Netflix is keeping "Queer Eye" around. The streaming giant announced on Monday, March 26 that it renewed the tear-jerking reality show for a sophomore season.
The official Twitter account for the series, which serves as a slightly modernized remake of the hit 2003 series "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy", shared the exciting news through a short video. The brief promotional footage saw the cast dancing to celebrate the renewal as the words "Season 2" were written on the screen.

"Things keep getting better," it wrote in the caption, to which Jonathan Van Ness ecstatically agreed as he replied, "Yes Queens!"
Some of the cast members, food and wine expert Antoni Porowski and Jonathan, also took to their social media accounts to share the news to fans. Antoni wrote on his Instagram account, "Season 2 *cue theme song*," while the grooming guru posted a photo of him which he captioned, "Season 2 Bearded Queen #mensgrooming #beard #wellgroomed."
Culture expert Karamo Brown, meanwhile, shared a cute photo of the Fab Five giving a contestant a makeover. "Season 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feeling extremely blessed to get to help more people with my four brothers who I love and am inspired by daily! #Fab5 let's do this!!!!" he captioned the pic.
Also starring interior design expert Bobby Berk and fashion guru Tan France, "Queer Eye" debuted on February 7 to rave reviews. Among the fans of the show is Chrissy Teigen, who wrote on her Twitter account, "yes I just followed all the queer eye guys."

The show's original creator, David Collins of Scout Productions, returned to produce the revival series. The original show was originally aired on Bravo from 2003 and 2007, marking the first reality show that truly celebrated the LGBTQ community.
As for now, there's no word on season 2 premiere date.
