AceShowbiz - Now that Jennifer Garner has split from ex-husband Ben Affleck, some people may think that the "Alum" actress will stand a chance to reunite with ex Michael Vartan. The "Within" actor has weighed in on the possible reconciliation when he appears on E!'s Daily Pop.
The actor, who's currently starring on "The Arrangement", was asked if he considers to getting back with Jennifer, whom he dated for a year in 2003.
"Oh my God," he responds. "I don't think so." Michael, who met the actress on the set of "Alum", continues saying, "If it didn't work once, there's a reason it didn't work."
"Everyone's getting single. It's crazy," he adds. "Everyone's realizing that is so much easier to be single. I love relationships. When they work, when they're great, they're great and when they're not, they're not."
The 49-year-old actor later jokes that despite being "single for life," he does have a special girl in his life. He's talking about his chocolate Labrador named Millie. "She's the love of my life," he gushes. "I adore her."
Meanwhile, Michael was previously married to Lauren Skaar for three years. The former spouses, who have no children together, divorced in 2014.
While Michael seemingly enjoys his life as a single, Jennifer has been rumored to have a new love with several men following her split from Ben. The 45-year-old beauty was rumored to be dating her "Love, Simon" co-star Josh Duhamel, though both laughed it off in a recent interview. Jennifer was also caught walking arm-in-arm with a mystery man last month in Los Angeles.
The pair were spotted cozying up to each other as the man casually put his arm around the actress' shoulders. Meanwhile, the mother of three put her arm around the man as one of her hands was holding a cup of a drink.
