Fans were surprised when Logic suddenly unveiled new track called "Overnight" along with its music video on Tuesday, February 27. The visuals for the new track features the 28-year-old rapper traveling to Japan and Hawaii.

The video, which was directed by Mike Holland, Justin Fleischer and Alec Schweitzer, begins with an introduction message which reads, "We took a trip to Maui and Tokyo to record music. While there, Logic said, 'Yo let's shoot a music video. F**k it.' "

The scene then changes to show Logic wandering the streets of Tokyo as well as relaxing by the pool in a resort in Maui. At one point, Logic gets himself a Japanese character tattoo and belts out the song in the middle of the Shibuya crossing.

The track itself finds the "1-800-273-8255" hitmaker spitting lines about how many people falsely believe that he became famous overnight. He uses the song to explain that it took him years of hard work and dedication to get to where he is right now.

Many of his fans are loving the new track, saying that they listen to the track on repeat. "I dead a** played this song all day and it was sunny out. Perfect combo," one fan commented. Another remarked, "Yo visionary y'all gotta fix the replay button I think it's broken."

"Overnight" follows Logic's recent single "44 More", which was released last week. The latter is a continuation to his 2016 banger "44 Bars", which is one of the tracks off his mixtape "Bobby Tarantino". It remains unclear whether both songs will be included in a new project. Last year, Logic said that his upcoming album would be his last.

"I just want to end everything with a really big bang and get the f**k out of here," he shared. "I'm going to do something that has not been done in hip-hop before, and I mean that conceptually as well... it's the quadrilogy. If they're putting on the next one, it must live in that 'The Incredible True Story' universe, and it's going to be a story to end all stories, including my own."
