AceShowbiz - It's a good day for Imagine Dragons fans. Along with announcing the summer dates of their "Evolve" tour, the Las Vegas-based rock band has released a new single entitled "Next to Me". The track was first premiered on February 21 on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show.
Produced by well-known producer Alex Da Kid, the track finds frontman Dan Reynolds spitting lines about problems and fears with commitments. "Oh, I always let you down/ You're shattered on the ground/ But still I find you there/ Next to me," he sings. "I'm far from good, it's true/ But I still find you/ Next to me."
"Next to Me" is the first single that Imagine Dragons unveiled since the release of their latest album "Evolve". The effort, which was released on June 23 last year, debuted and peaked at No. 2 on Billboard 200 chart. It was also nominated for the Best Pop Vocal Album Award at the 2018 Grammys.
As mentioned before, the rock band has announced the summer dates of their "Evolve" tour. Produced by Live Nation, the trek will feature 14-year-old indie folk-pop singer Grace VanderWaal. The tour will kick off on June 5 in Hartford, Connecticut, and wrap up on August 10 in Tampa, Florida.
Tickets will be going on sale to the general public starting Saturday, March 3 at 10 A.M. Fans can register now for free access to Ticketmaster's Verified Fan pre-sale, which runs from Tuesday, February 27 at 10 A.M. to Friday, March 2 at 10 P.M. local time.
Also this summer, HBO Documentary Films will release the Live Nation Productions documentary "Believer". It follows Reynolds as he takes on a new mission to explore how the Mormon church treats its LGBT members.
