Park Bo Gum Beaming at University Graduation Ceremony - See the Pics!

The 'Love in the Moonlight' star can't hide his happiness as he attends his graduation ceremony at Myongji University in Yongin.

AceShowbiz - Park Bo Gum has completed his study at Myongji University. The 24-year-old actor earned his degree in Musical Theater on Wednesday, February 21 and was spotted attending his graduation ceremony in the campus chapel in Yongin.

Wearing black graduation cap and gown, the "Love in the Moonlight" star was pictured as he arrived. Holding two bouquets of flowers which he received from fans, he couldn't stop smiling while posing for photographers and waving to fans who had been waiting for him to congratulate him on his graduation.

He said in front of the crowd ahead of the ceremony, "Thank you for coming all the way here. I am so nervous for graduation. I learned a lot over four years, and I want to thank my schoolmates, seniors, juniors, and professors."

Park Bo Gum entered Myongji University in 2014, majoring in musical theater. He's known for attending classes diligently despite his busy schedule. In July 2017, he even participated in the senior graduation musical "Hairspray" as the music director.

Park Bo Gum gained recognition after playing a psychopathic lawyer on 2015's series "Hello Monster". He landed a lead role on tVN's "Reply 1988", which later became the highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history. He rose to international fame through his role as a Joseon Crown Prince on 2016's series "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds".

Due to his rising fame, he was named Actor of the Year by Gallup Korea in 2016, becoming the youngest artist to earn the title at age 23. In 2017, he topped Forbes magazine's Korea Power Celebrity list, making him the first ever actor to do so.

Park Bo Gum can be seen in the second season of "Hyori's Homestay 2" on which he appears as a part-time employee. The show airs Sundays, at 9 P.M. KST on JTBC.
