Kesha Forced to Postpone Tour Dates Due to Torn ACL: 'I'm Heartbroken'

The 30-year-old songstress announces on social media that she will postpone some of her international tour dates as she needs to 'undergo surgery to repair my torn ACL.'

AceShowbiz - Ke$ha has been hitting the road for her "Rainbow" tour in the last few months, but the "Die Young" hitmaker recently announced that she would postpone some of the international tour dates due to torn ACL. She took to social media on February 20 to share that she was "heartbroken" to announce it.

"I am being forced to postpone some of my upcoming international dates due to a recent injury I sustained while performing," she wrote. "It's my biggest joy in life to share my music with my fans all over the world, but I have to follow my doctors orders and undergo surgery to repair my torn ACL so I can get ready to give it all on my Summer tour and beyond."

"Moving dates is making me sick with sadness, but I tried to will this injury away and unfortunately it didn't work," she continued. "I love you all and I'll work every single day as hard as I can to recover and get back on stage as soon as possible. I'm so sorry and sending love always."

According to a press release, the postponement will affect her Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Japan tour dates. Fans were encouraged to "hold on to their tickets" and look out for more specific details on reimbursements and reschedules in the near future.

Ke$ha's injury was the result of an onstage fall during her performance at the Redfest DXB in Dubai on February 9. In a video obtained by TMZ, the 30-year-old songstress was performing "We R Who We R" beside her guitarist when she slipped and fell backwards, causing her feet to go up in the air.

Even though it looked painful, she got up immediately and continued her performance like nothing happened. Witnessing the incident, her fans cheered her on loudly.
