AceShowbiz - Being a musician means that you have to give your best during performance. And Ke$ha was so determined to make the audience enjoy her show that she shockingly fell on stage. The incident happened at the RedfestDXB Dubai Festival on February 9.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the "Die Young" songstress was performing "We R Who We R" beside her guitarist when she slipped and fell backwards, causing her feet to go up in the air. Even though it looked painful, she got up immediately and continued her performance like nothing happened. Witnessing the incident, her fans cheered her on.
Her fall was not the only headline that Ke$ha made recently. She also made many people break down in tears following her touching performance of "Praying" at the 2018 Grammy Awards, which took place at Madison Square Garden in New York on January 28.
The songstress was not alone on the stage as she was joined by a few of outstanding female backup vocals such as Camila Cabello and Bebe Rexha. She dedicated the song to the #MeToo movement and women who are survivors of assault. The lyrics of the song talks about KeSha's personal experience with sexual harassment.
"This song is about coming to feel empathy for someone else even if they hurt you or scare you," she said of the song. "It's a song about learning to be proud of the person you are even during low moments when you feel alone. It's about hoping everyone, even someone who hurt you, can heal."
"I hope this song reaches people who are in the midst of struggles, to let them know that no matter how bad it seems now, you can get through it," she continued. "If you have love and truth on your side, you will never be defeated. Don't give up on yourself."
