Maroon 5 has another music video for their track "Wait". The band treated fans to the new music video on Thursday, February 8. Directed by David Meyers, the visuals stars "Baywatch" actress Alexandra Daddario.

The three-and-a-half-minute music video begins with Adam Levine showing up shirtless for Daddario's funeral. Levine doesn't seem to mind the hateful stares that he receives from her family as he sees her lying in bikini, lifeless. He then gets punched by a mourner after dropping a scorpion, which brings her back to life, onto her body.

The scenes take a weird turn after that. Viewers get to see Levine swimming in a sea of mermaid clones and trying to touch Daddario's face to no avail as her face turns into a palette of mushed paint. The bizarre visuals ends with Daddario driving away from their shared home and Levine disappears in a storm of rope while begging her to wait.

Last month, Maroon 5 released a Snapchat-filtered music video for the track. The clip features Levine performing the song through a seemingly endless variety of filters in different locations in his house. No filter is left unturned as he rocks rabbit ears, giant glasses, a dog face and a koala face. His wife Behati Prinsloo makes a brief cameo in the clip.

"Wait" is the second single off the band's latest album "Red Pill Blues", which made its way out to stores on November 3, 2017 and debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 chart. Maroon 5 revealed that the artwork for the album was inspired by Snapchat filters. "We thought it would be funny to take some more straight-ahead band photos and sprinkle in a little turn," Levine said.

In support of the album, Maroon 5 will embark on a North America tour starting from May 30 to October 15. Julia Michaels is confirmed to join the band for the tour.
