Girls' Generation's members have greeted their fans who have been missing them since they were last seen together months ago. All eight members of the girl group recently reunited when Tiffany (II), who has been studying acting in California, was in Korea for a photo shoot.
On Wednesday, January 31, they shared some photos and videos from their meet-up. Tiffany took to Instagram Stories to share photos of her welcoming her friends at her house. "When your family shows up at your place one by one like the gigantic order of food you made," she wrote on a picture of Tae Yeon showing up at her door.
The girls greeted their fans in a video shared on Instagram. Hyoyeon wrote in a caption of the video, "SONE, you're doing well, right? Girls' Generation are doing well. I missed you. This is Girls' Generation. #partytime #imsohappy #wearehere #taenghyoyooyoonseosusooti."
Sunny, meanwhile, shared her photos with Tiffany.
Tae Yeon also posted photos of their reunion, writing along with it, "My pride. My strength."
In October, it was reported that Seohyun, Sooyoung and Tiffany decided not to renew their contracts with SM Entertainment. Meanwhile, Tae Yeon, Yoona, Hyoyeon, Kwon Yuri and Sunny renewed their contracts with the label.
Despite the three girls' departures, SM said Girls' Generation is not disbanding. They said in a statement, "Girls' Generation is a group that is precious and meaningful to SM and their fans. The members also have no thoughts at all about disbanding. Simply, as there are members whose contracts have ended, a careful decision will be made after discussions with the members about Girls' Generation's direction for activities in the future."
Tiffany has since returned to the U.S. to study acting, Seohyun joined Sublime Artist Agency in December, and Sooyoung signed with Echo Global Group.
