Kylie Minogue is finally back. After releasing her new track "Dancing" on January 19, the Australian songstress treated her fans to a music video for the country track on Thursday, February 1. The visuals was directed by veteran helmer Sophie Muller.

The three-minute clip sees Minogue channeling Dolly Parton as she strums her guitar while singing to the track in a lowly motel room. Whenever the chorus comes, the scene then changes to show the 49-year-old singer dancing with a slew of dancers who rock Day of the Dead costumes.

"This is where I wanna be with you/ Your arms wrapped around me/ And fireworks reflecting in your eyes," she rhymes. "This is how I wanna feel/ The wine, the kiss, the music reeling/ Getting down, riding all the highs." The end of the clip features her dancing with a grim reaper.

Talking about filming the music video, Minogue admitted that she found it hard to learn the choreography despite having years of experience as a musician. "I always thought I could learn routines quickly, but this was different," she said. "However, by the time I had to dance with the grim reaper at the end I had mastered it. And if that's not funny allegory for life I don't know what is!"

"Dancing" is the lead single off Minogue's upcoming album "Golden", which will be released on April 8. It is her first album since signing with BMG last year. Discussing the 12-track effort with BBC Radio 2's Chris Evans, she revealed that it was inspired by the songwriting of Nashville artists.

"It was really good time to be honest, and work through everything, and give a snapshot of where I am in my life," she shared. "A lot of it was done in Nashville, and that taught me about putting more story into the song. And then you can take that song and produce that any way you want."
