Song Seung Heon and Liu Yifei Split After Two Years of Dating

The two met on the set of Korean-Chinese movie 'The Third Way of Love' in 2015, but have drifted apart due to their busy schedules.

AceShowbiz - %cSong Seung Heon% is back on the market. The 41-year-old actor has broken up with his girlfriend, Chinese actress %cLiu Yifei%, after dating publicly for over two years. Chinese media outlet insiders initially said, "Liu Yifei's side has already determined that the two have broken up... But because they were together for a long time, it seems they are taking a while to organize their feelings."

Song Seung Heon's label has confirmed the news, telling TVReport, "It's true they broke up. The exact timing is their personal business so we do not know. Song Seung Heon and Liu Yifei both worked without any break. They couldn't meet because of busy schedules, so they naturally drifted apart."

The agency added, "It's not that they broke up because of China's ban on Hallyu."

Song Seung Heon and Liu Yifei met on the set of Korean-Chinese movie "The Third Way of Love" in 2015. They confirmed their relationship in August the same year and the then-couple often made public appearance together.

Back in April 2017, they were hit with pregnancy reports. People pointed out at Liu Yifei's perceived weight gain and not wearing pantsuits as supporting evidence, but the stars and their agencies never confirmed nor denied the rumors.

Liu Yifei put the rumors to rest when she showed up at an event wearing high heels in a tight-fitting dress and even drinking champagne last April.

Song Seung Heon recently starred on fantasy thriller series "Black" alongside %cGo Ara%. He will next be seen in Chinese action war drama film "The Bombing", which was filmed from May until November 2015. Hollywood actors %cBruce Willis% and %cAdrien Brody% will make appearance in the film, which has %cMel Gibson% serving as the art director. The English-Mandarin language movie is due out May 25 in China.

As for Liu Yifei, the 30-year-old actress was recently cast in Disney's upcoming live-action remake of "Mulan", which will be directed by Niki Caro.
